Driving is by far the most popular and convenient way to reach Technology Raceway, especially for fans coming from across the St. Louis region and neighbouring states. The track is located just minutes from downtown St. Louis, across the Mississippi River in Madison, Illinois, and is easily accessible from major highways.
If you're arriving from downtown St. Louis or St. Louis Lambert International Airport, the fastest route is to take I-70 East across the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge. From there, merge onto I-55 North and follow signs for I-70 East or I-55 North, depending on your entry point. Take the exit for IL-203 North, and after a short drive, turn left at the Ohio Street intersection, which leads directly to the main entrance of the raceway.
Visitors coming from the northern suburbs can take I-270 North, then exit onto IL-203 South. Follow the road until you reach Raceway Boulevard, where signage and event staff will guide you toward the designated parking areas.
For those travelling from southern Illinois or using I-64 West or I-55 North, the same IL-203 North exit provides access. Once again, turning left at Ohio Street will bring you into the venue’s main access point.
Regardless of where you're coming from, it’s highly recommended to use a GPS or navigation app with live traffic updates. Race weekends can be particularly busy, with traffic building up near the entrances in the hours leading up to the event. Arriving early in the day is your best bet for avoiding long queues and securing a good parking spot. Make sure to follow on-site signage and instructions from staff, as parking lot entry points may vary depending on your pass type or event day.
In short, getting to Technology Raceway is straightforward thanks to its close proximity to major interstates, but some pre-planning and an early start can make a big difference in how smooth your arrival is.
